What is the Women's Health Council?

Women's Health

The Council is the external advisory body for the Office on Women's Health. Members are appointed by the Department director. The Council:

• Speaks for many different communities of interest
• Represents the racial, ethnic, age, and geographic diversity of Missouri
• Assists the Office in identifying issues of concern statewide and in establishing its priorities
• Provides a forum for women's health planning
• Assists the Office in developing strategic linkages and relationships
