Cashier Training Manual
This
manual includes WIC Program information for WIC Vendors to use in training
their cashiers in the procedures to follow when conducting a WIC
transaction. The manual contains a Manager Overview and a self-paced
Cashier Training Manual. Cashiers should be required to review each topic
and complete the exercises in the Cashier Training Module Workbook. The topics
covered within the Cashier Training Manual should be documented on the "WIC Vendor Training Documentation (WIC-22)" form located in Appendix C of the WIC Vendor Manual. Cashier training documentation must be made available to the Department upon reque

Grocery Store (Vendor) Locations
This list provides current grocery store location information of
participating Vendor Stores in the WIC Program.

WIC Formula Redemption - WIC-21
Form used by WIC vendors when they do not have enough formula in their stock to meet
the demands on a WIC Check. When completed by the vendor and returned to the agency by
the participant, the participant can be given an additional food instrument to make up
the difference of what was not available before.

Authorization Application
Each Vendor store applying for the WIC Authorization must complete a WIC Authorization
Application. Vendor applicants must complete and submit all the required application
forms to the State WIC office. All information MUST be complete.

Application Packet
The Vendor application packet provides an overview of the Missouri WIC Program as well
as specific instructions for completing the application. Please download the
application packet prior to completing Vendor Authorization Application.

Food Price List and Stocking Survey
Each applicant must complete and return the Food Price List and Stocking Survey with
the Vendor Authorization Application. Stores must list the current shelf (not sale)
prices of all WIC approved foods the store currently has in stock. Stores must list
the quantity in stock of all WIC approved foods in the store. The person completing
the Food Price List must sign and date it where indicated.
Caution: Applicants must stock the minimum varieties
and quantities for each food category listed on the pages.

Operations Manual
The WIC Operations Manual is designed to provide essential procedural information to
WIC Vendors. It is also used for training purposes. Items contained in the Vendor
Operations Manual include, Participant Eligibility, Benefit information, Vendor Role
Selection Criteria, WIC Check examples, as well as various Appendices.
WIC Approved
Food List
The WIC Approved Food List provides foods that are acceptable in the WIC Program.
These foods target essential nutrients often missing from diets of its participants.
WIC participants may only redeem WIC Checks for the foods listed on the WIC Approved
Food List.
