Eligibility

WIC

Children playing on floorWIC provides benefits to families that have Women who are pregnant (having a baby), breastfeeding (nursing a baby up to a year) and postpartum (for 6 months after having a baby or termination of pregnancy), Infants (a child under a year), and Children (from age 1 year up to their 5th birthday).

Eligibility for WIC can only be determined at a certification process conducted by Local WIC Providers at a clinic they operate throughout the state of Missouri. To be eligible for WIC benefits applicants must meet income guidelines and at least one of the nutrition risk factors.

Family income 185% or less of federal poverty level
