October 6, 2005 WIC Updates

TO: Local WIC Provider Administrators, WIC Coordinators and WIC Nutrition Coordinators

The State WIC Office has just been informed that this Saturday, October 8, 2005,  the Income Maintenance database at the Department of Social Services is scheduled to be down from 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM for changes.  Many WIC HANDS screens depend on that area of the data system and therefore HANDS will not be available during that time.  Please plan your weekend clinics to run off-line during this time.  Assure that your manual check system is ready and the latest updates are loaded.

If you have questions, please call the Help Desk before Friday, 5:00 p.m.
