May 20, 2005 WIC Updates

TO: Local WIC Provider Administrators, WIC Coordinators and WIC Nutrition Coordinators
SUBJECT: June 6 Deadline for June Payment of May WIC-24s

June 30, 2005 ends of state fiscal year. With such comes early closing dates of the state's payment system.

In order for the LWPs to receive a WIC cost reimbursement payment in the month of June, all WIC-24 Monthly Administrative Cost Report invoices (MAYWIC24.xls and earlier) must be received by the state office no later that Monday, June 6, 2005. 

WIC-24 cost report invoices received after June 6 will be processed later for payment in July, after the new state fiscal year payment system becomes active.

This notice is provided in order to afford you the opportunity to receive a payment in June if at all possible. Please share this information ASAP with the individual(s) that prepare your WIC billings to the state.
