TO: Local WIC Provider Administrators, WIC Coordinators and WIC Nutrition Coordinators
SUBJECT: 2006 WIC Operations Manual (WOM)

You will soon be receiving the 2006 WIC Operations Manual (WOM) CD in the mail. Attached to this e mail are several items that you will need to print off and read before loading the WOM CD.

1. Attachment A Instructions for Removing previous WOM versions. This must be done before the new version can be loaded.
2. Attachment B Instructions for Installing 2006 WOM. The installation will run on it's own, just follow the prompts to install.
3. Attachment C This is a list of all the changes that have been made in the WOM for this version. This document can also be found in the WOM as a link.
4. Attachment D 2006 WOM LWP Verification Publisher. This is a verification letter that must be completed and returned to the state WIC office by July 31, 2006. It can be e-mailed (melissa.seaver@dhss.mo.gov), faxed (573-522-6501 attn: Melissa), or mailed (PO Box 570). The number of computers as well as the WIC tag number OR serial number of the computer must be recorded on this form. The WOM must be loaded on at least one WIC computer and should be loaded on all WIC computers. Once the WOM is loaded, keep the CD until the next release.
