1. VENA Education Committee Minutes: Attached are minutes from the June 28 VENA Education Committee. The minutes also include the list of committee members. If you have comments or questions, contact Vicki Strickland at Vicki.Strickland@dhss.mo.gov.

2. The University of Minnesota 2007 National Maternal Nutrition Intensive Course will not require a registration fee. The training is sponsored by the University of Minnesota and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Please contact Michele Bailey at 573.751.6481 or Michele.Bailey@dhss.mo.gov with questions.
3. Breastfeeding Conference: Save the date!  The Southeast Missouri Breastfeeding Task Force and Southeast Missouri Hospital is hosting a breastfeeding conference on Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Drury Inn in Cape Girardeau. Amy Spangler, MN, RN, IBCLC, Marsha Walker, RN, IBCLC and a Neonatologist from Southeast Hospital (not yet named) will be guest speakers. Cost to register for the conference will be $50 and registration information will be available by January 2008. For more information contact Cheryl Wormington at 573-270-5445.
