February 14, 2005 WIC Update

TO: Local WIC Provider Administrators, WIC Coordinators and WIC Nutrition Coordinators
SUBJECT: Printed WIC Approved Food Lists - English and Spanish  (March 1, 2005 - September 30, 2005)

The English and Spanish versions of WIC Approved Food List are being printed at the State Printing Center. 

English Version (YELLOW):
The State Office plans to ship about 3-4 month supply of English version of the list to local WIC providers (LWPs) as soon as it is printed.  All LWPs should receive the printed list (YELLOW) by February 25, 2005.

Spanish Version (PINK):
The Spanish version of the list (PINK) will be shipped only to LWPs that completed the Translation Needs Assessment Survey form mailed to LWPs on February 8, 2005. 

Please order additional WIC Approved Food Lists (English and Spanish) as needed after you get the printed lists from the State office.  If you have any questions, please contact Takako Tagami, 1-800-392-8209, or  e-mail TAGAMT@dhss.mo.gov
