SUBJECT 1: MyPyramid For Pregnancy Brochure
SUBJECT 2: WICNS exploring possible part-time PDI

1. MyPyramid For Pregnancy Brochure: The attached is a PDF version of the MyPyramid For Pregnancy brochure. It was developed by University of Missouri (MU) Extension based on USDA's MyPyramid. It will be printed with permission of MU Extension at the State Printing Center and should be available at the warehouse by the end of January 2007. In the meantime, please feel free to make copies as needed. It will be translated into Spanish.  If you have any questions, please contact Takako Tagami at Takako.Tagami@dhss.mo.gov.
2. WICNS exploring possible part-time PDI: The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Program for Dietetic Interns (PDI) is exploring the interest in, and feasibility of, providing the PDI as a part-time option for LWP nutritionists. We would like input from your agency’s perspective as to how a part-time program may possibly affect your program operations if your nutritionist is in the program, as well as input from the nutritionist’s perspective. Please provide your thoughts on the following questions by December 31, 2006.
