Missouri Information for Community Assessment (MICA):
Allows for generation of a table by disease condition for variables such as specific diagnosis, year of occurrence, age, race, sex, county and/or zip code. The Priorities MICA assists communities in prioritizing diseases or risk factors for specific populations (race, sex, age, county).
Community Data Profiles:
The Diabetes Profile compiles multiple diabetes data sources (i.e., diabetes prevalence, preventive practices, risk factors, and complications). It can be accessed by going to the web page for Community Data Profiles, selecting "Diabetes" in the drop down menu box for profiles available, selecting the location you are interested in the next drop down menu box, and clicking Submit. Diabetes data can also be found in several other community data profiles, such as cause of death, chronic diseases, unintentional injuries, and prenatal. The 2003 Health and Preventive Practices Status Report provides county level diabetes prevalence data.
