Time Critical Diagnosis System
At the heart of Missouri’s new Time Critical Diagnosis (TCD) System initiative, emphasis is on patient outcomes. TCD will create a statewide framework that helps all system members transcend traditional boundaries and interact more effectively across organizational lines.
TCD will share expertise and resources to improve outcomes for patients suffering the time critical diagnosis of severe trauma, stroke, and STEMI (ST-elevation myocardial infarction). Data show a dramatic difference in patient outcomes with time critical intervention for these diagnoses.
