Rural Hospital Information
Primary Care and Rural Health
Rural Hospitals are essential resources for communities to meet the health care needs of their citizens. However, the changes in the insurance industry, including Medicare, have created new challenges for Missouri's Rural Hospitals.
To help these communities and their facilities, Primary Care and Rural Health has partnered with the federal government, the Missouri Hospital Association and several Missouri organizations to develop and distribute resources. The resources range from certification programs and technical assistance, to funds for specific projects and equipment.
