This manual is designed to define statewide standards and to provide guidance for quality, legal public health nursing practice. It is targeted to public health nurses providing services within state and local agencies.

This manual is subject to change as new information becomes available or new programs are developed. Suggestions for improvement or needed changes are encouraged.
