MICA (Missouri Information for Community Assessment) is an interactive, intervention planning system for public health practitioners and community stakeholders. The goal of the MICA system is to support you in your efforts to improve the health of your community.
MICA has three primary tools:
- Data MICA (data and statistics for needs assessment)
- Priorities MICA (facts and figures to guide priority-setting)
- Intervention MICA (information, tools and resources for intervention design, implementation, and evaluation)
This system uses an evidence-based public health process to guide decision-making, including how to identify and prioritize the most important health concerns in a community as well as how to develop interventions to address these priority areas.
