Periodicity Schedule

Healthy Children

Well-child exams are important to assure on-going supervision of each child's health. The Healthy Children and Youth (HCY) Program makes available to MC+ recipients under the age of 21 a full HCY screening examination based on the following periodicity schedule.

• Newborn (2-3) days
• By one Month
• 2-3 Months
• 4-5 Months
• 6-8 Months
• 9-11 Months
• 12-14 Months
• 15-17 Months
• 18-23 Months
• 24 Months
• 3 Years
• 4 Years
• 5 Years
• 6-7 Years
• 8-9 Years
• 10-11 Years
• 12-13 Years
• 14-15 Years
• 16-17 Years
• 18-19 Years
• 20 Years

The HCY Program also offers the following periodic screenings:

• Dental screening—from 6 months old to 21 years.
• Hearing screening—from 3 years old to 21 years.
