What is Family Partnership?
Family Partnership is part of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Special Health Care Needs. It was developed to assist individuals with special needs and their families in building relationships with other families in similar situations and in obtaining useful information regarding resources.
How can Family Partnership help my child and our family?
The goals of Family Partnership are to:
- Provide families with the opportunity to offer each other support and information.
- Give families the opportunity to provide Special Health Care Needs (SHCN) input on the needs of individuals with special health care needs.
- Build public and community awareness of the unique needs and issues facing families of individuals with special health care needs.
- Promote state legislation for programs for special health care needs individuals and their families.
