Foster parent licensure denials, revocations, and suspensions
The Family Care Safety Registry maintains a computer interface with the Missouri Department of Social Services. The Foster Care Licensing file contains the current licensure status of individuals who provide care for children under state custody. The file includes licensure information on current providers, as well as those waiting approval of a license.  The Children’s Division licenses foster homes, group homes, and relative homes for children who have been removed from their natural parental custody due to abuse or neglect.  For more information, contact the Department of Social Services Children’s Division at (573) 522-8024.
