Employment Opportunities

New Applicant (never completed a Missouri Merit System application):

• To see job classification eligibility requirements, pay ranges, and to download an application form, or obtain other information, click on Missouri State Job Opportunities (see link on this web page), and then click on Merit System Job Opportunities and/or View Class Specifications. If unable to download the form at: www.oa.state.mo.us/pers/appreq.htm, contact OA/PD at 573-751-4162
• Keep a copy of your completed form, but mail the original to the address provided
• If applicable, include a copy (an official “Issued to Student” copy is OK) of your academic transcript(s), and copies of certificates, license(s). Do not send the originals
• Complete the application items thoroughly and thoughtfully (do not rely on an attached resume to show your qualifications)
• Spell out the exact title(s) and levels that you want to be evaluated for (i.e. Social Service Worker I, II; Nutritionist I, II, III; Epidemiology Specialist, etc.)
• Check all of the counties you are willing to work in (bear in mind that most job classes are NOT located in every county)
