The following step-by-step process will allow you to customize a data table using Death Statistics for any zip code in the state.
    Step One
 Select a row variable (default value: Causes).
Year     Race     Sex     Age     Ethnicity     Zip code*     Causes*
 *Sort Function - Sort by Zip code or Causes when used as row or column variable.    Sort     No Sort
    Step Two
 Select a column variable (default value: Year).

    Step Three (Optional)
 If you want to choose a particular range (example: Ages 25-44) do not select that variable above, choose it in the pull-down box below.

 Select Zip Code(s)
 Enter Zip codes separated by spaces:
    Step Five
 Select year(s) of interest (default: 2005).

    Step Six
 Select an indicator variable (default: All Causes).
This list contains the major causes. Once the table is produced by major causes, you are allowed to "drill down". "Drill down" allows you to look at more specific causes that make up these major causes. Pound sign (#) marks causes designated by the NCHS as rankable in choosing leading causes of death. Two pound signs (##) mark pairs of causes which together constitute one rankable cause.
