World AIDS Day Themes

The World Health Organization designated, in 1988, December 1st as “World AIDS Day”, as an opportunity for “governments, national AIDS programmes, nongovernmental and local organizations, as well as individuals everywhere to demonstrate both the importance they attached to the combat against AIDS and their solidarity in this efforti.”
