Mental Health Disaster Communications Guidebooks

The departments of Health and Senior Services and Mental Health have partnered to deliver public education on emotional preparedness for any event Missourians may face through the Disaster Communications Guidebooks. These guides provide talking points that will help promote emotional well-being and foster greater coping skills in the event of a disaster. Electronic copies of the guidebooks are also available on the Department of Mental Health’s web site at www.dmh.mo.gov/diroffice/disaster/disaster.htm.
