Members of the Missouri Arthritis Advisory Board

• Shall comply with conflict of interest laws and regulations in Sections 105.450 to 105.496, RSMo, as applicable to the Department of Health and Senior Services. To view the Statutes on line, go to http://www.moga.mo.gov/statutes/C105.HTM and click on Chapter 105.450.
• Shall serve the program as a whole rather than any special interest group or constituency. As a member of the board, your first obligation is to avoid any preconception that you “represent” anything other than the Department’s MAOP’s best interests.
• Must avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest that might embarrass the board, the Department, or the MAOP.
• Will disclose any possible conflicts to the board leadership.
• Shall maintain an independent and objective sense of fairness, ethics, and personal integrity though it may not be necessary by law, regulation, or custom.
